About The Position

The Technology Research team is seeking a hardworking, goal-oriented, highly motivated Research Analyst. The selected candidate will support the execution of primary market research, including both custom and syndicated projects, with a primary focus on survey operations, data quality, and research deliverables. This individual contributor role works closely with the sales team, project managers, internal subject matter experts (SMEs), and external vendors to ensure research is designed and executed according to best practices and produces high-quality data. This role is client-facing and research topics are primarily technology-focused, including areas such as AI, data centers, cloud computing, and IoT.

Requirements

  • BA in a related field (e.g., statistics, marketing, market research, social science)
  • 3–5 years of experience in primary market research, survey research, consulting, or client-facing research roles
  • Strong understanding of survey design, research methodology, sampling, fielding, and data quality assurance practices
  • Experience managing multiple research projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with external vendors, including sample providers
  • Strong Excel skills and experience producing structured survey outputs (e.g., crosstabs)
  • Confident, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with very high survey/data literacy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills are also essential – the role involves working collaboratively with the internal teams to provide high quality, differentiated data.
  • Right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AI-powered tools to improve research efficiency, analysis, and content development
  • Demonstrated interest in applying AI as a practical tool within research operations and workflows
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, methods, and technologies as the research landscape evolves
  • Exposure to qualitative research methods, such as in-depth interviews or EDBs
  • Experience supporting technology-focused research domains (e.g., AI, data centers, cloud, IoT,)
  • Familiarity with survey platforms or analytics/visualization tools
  • Python or “vibe coding” experience, particularly when used alongside AI tools or for process automation
  • Knowledge of the technology industry is preferred, but not a must-have. More important is a passion for data, attention to detail, and a client focus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end survey research projects, including questionnaire design, programming, fielding, data validation, and deliverable production
  • Support both custom research projects and syndicated research programs
  • Collaborate with sales and project managers to understand client goals, and with SMEs to design research studies that meet those objectives
  • Serve as a client-facing research partner, leading calls related to methodology, survey design, and progress
  • Manage sample providers to ensure adherence to timelines, sampling plan, and quality standards
  • Monitor fieldwork and review data at key milestones (e.g., soft launch, midpoint, final) and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Produce and quality-check crosstabs and structured data outputs
  • Creation of PowerPoint decks, charts, and other research deliverables
  • Apply industry-standard research methodologies and data quality best practices
  • Ensure survey instruments are tested thoroughly prior to launch and monitored throughout fielding
  • Identify data quality issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them efficiently
  • Support operational consistency across projects while adapting to client-specific requirements
  • Work closely with internal SMEs on research design, and to support analysis and presentation of research findings
  • Provide operational and data inputs that enable SME-led insights and storytelling
