This role involves preparing work plans, assembling project teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring compliance with scope and timely completion. The Project Manager will establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize project progress. Key aspects of the role include personnel management, proposal generation, business development, and overseeing the scheduling of field work. The position requires reviewing and processing the results of field surveys, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and financial performance of assigned projects. Developing and maintaining client relationships, verifying field survey data accuracy, and performing deed and utility research are also crucial. The role also involves assisting with business development, contract preparation, scoping, risk assessment, pricing of remediation projects, and managing time off requests and timesheets. Additionally, the Project Manager will manage vendors for field supplies and tools, coordinate with other survey project managers, and collaborate with licensed surveyors, engineers, and technical staff. Safety is a top priority, requiring compliance with all safe work practices and participation in safety meetings. The role also includes maintaining digital files, assisting with fleet vehicle management and maintenance, and providing technical direction and troubleshooting for hardware and equipment.
