About The Position

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated Project Manager to work in its Surveying Group. The role involves managing a wide range of survey projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, IDOT plat of highways, and topographic surveying. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration, and teamwork.

The position includes leading and overseeing team members, directing personnel assigned to the survey group, contributing to business development, preparing budgets and proposals, tracking project costs, and managing multiple large projects simultaneously. It also involves plat creation, boundary calculations and oversight, and research of public records online and at the recorder’s office.

Requirements

• Be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
• Have a minimum of 10 years of experience working as a land surveyor in the State of Illinois.
• Have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center.
• Be able to operate Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS equipment.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be able to multitask, adhere to timelines, and remain focused.
• Be willing to embrace and align with EEI’s mission and core values.

Responsibilities
