About The Position

As a Survey Manager at Kiewit Offshore Services, you will establish and maintain methods for safe, accurate, and efficient survey and dimensional control operations. The role is responsible for field survey operations and requires spending the majority of the time in the field performing surveying work. The position is initially based at Kiewit Offshore Services’ Ingleside, Texas location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in dimensional control, industrial measurement, construction survey, or a related field.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts to calculations involving area, volume, circumference, proportion, and percentage.
• Dynamic thinking and a desire to lead, motivate, and mentor teams.
• Self-starter able to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to working safely and getting the job done right the first time.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Ability to work productively and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform field computations.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and legible field notes.
• Utilize a Leica Total Station.
• Manage teams.
• Ensure project and department milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
• Work safely and effectively, following oral and written instructions, warning signs, equipment-use guidance, and other policies.
• Organize and complete work within deadlines during normal operating hours; work overtime and weekends as required.
