About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Syracuse, New York. The role involves monitoring screens and security systems to identify suspicious activity and potential threats before they escalate, in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The position offers full-time evening or overnight shifts, with weekends required. Available shifts are 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $19.73, and DailyPay is available. Eligible new hires may receive a $150 hiring bonus after 30 days and another $150 after 90 days, subject to bonus criteria and satisfactory performance.

Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. GardaWorld provides uniforms at no cost and describes opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a New York Security License.

Responsibilities
