About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Mentor, Ohio. The officer monitors security systems and observes activity to identify threats before they escalate, helping protect people and property. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. (2nd shift). The position pays $16 per hour. A background check and drug screening are required after an offer of employment is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
