About The Position

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will use sharp observation skills and attention to detail to monitor screens and identify threats before they escalate. Work environments may include security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• Have first aid certification.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and an excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be able to stand and walk throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
