About The Position

Surveillance Operators monitor gaming areas, back-of-house operations, and public spaces to uphold casino standards and protect company assets. Duties include observing live and recorded video feeds, identifying irregularities, documenting incidents, supporting investigations, and communicating findings to appropriate departments. Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a dedication to maintaining a secure and fair gaming environment are essential aspects of this role.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have valid identification
Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
Proficient in English verbal and written
Must be able to obtain and possess a gaming license from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to interface effectively with public and co-workers.
Must be able to process large amounts of information and take appropriate corrective actions.
Requires full dexterity and mobility throughout all shifts.
Involves regular use of office equipment and computers.
Includes ongoing games protection training.
Provides training assistance to new employees.
Involves interaction with law enforcement and courtroom personnel.

Preferred Knowledge of all Casino/Hotel operations.

Responsibilities

Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitor casino activities and prepares reports and logs.
Presents evaluations of any observed illegal activity to the proper departments and makes necessary recommendations.
Makes recommendations and enforces state and federal regulations.
Adheres to all department, company, and state regulations, policies, and procedures.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Successful behaviors and Focus skills.
