About The Position

The Surveillance Operator is responsible for monitoring casino operations through a CCTV system to detect and report procedural violations, unusual activities, and individuals who are excluded or self-excluded from the facility. This role requires knowledge of casino equipment, Anti-Money Laundering/Title 31 regulations, and OASIS applications. The operator must communicate violations promptly, maintain accurate documentation, and operate within departmental procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
  • Must complete all required company training.
  • Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Working knowledge of OASIS applications including but not limited to information pertaining to the following: cage, pit (customer status inquiries), credit, marketing, players club and self-exclusion data.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in casino surveillance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to calls requesting surveillance coverage.
  • Conduct surveillance through the CCTV system to observe, report, and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
  • Ensure employees are monitoring automated bill breaker, gaming voucher, coupon redemption, and jackpot payout machines.
  • Ensure employees are monitoring the operation of the count room and the video recording of cash movements, slot cash storage boxes, and table game drop boxes.
  • Complete annual Anti-Money Laundering/Title 31 training.
  • Detect the presence of any individual who may be required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility, or is self-excluded from the gaming floor and gaming activities.
  • Communicate violations in a timely manner to appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Follow up with accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Conduct digital video reviews as assigned.
  • Document equipment malfunctions.
  • Operate procedures within the designated department accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
