The Surveillance Operator monitors activities of guests and employees on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via closed-circuit television (CCTV) system and personal observation. This role is responsible for identifying, recording, and documenting illegal and/or unusual activities, reviewing tapes associated with jackpots, and maintaining strict confidentiality. The operator will also monitor the alarm system, prepare daily reports and logs, and ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly. This position plays a crucial role in protecting company assets and ensuring adherence to state regulations and company policies. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills, with an emphasis on guest service and maintaining a professional demeanor.
