About The Position

The Surveillance Observer is responsible for operating the surveillance system and associated equipment to monitor casino activities. This role involves communicating with various stakeholders, documenting observations, and adhering to department policies. A key responsibility is to immediately report any violations of internal controls or state regulations related to gaming activity to the appropriate personnel, in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy. The position also requires providing excellent customer service that reflects the company's culture.

Requirements

• Ability to physically watch numerous monitors simultaneously and observe for extended periods of time.
• Ability to manually operate various closed circuit video equipment and change recording material as necessary.
• Ability to maneuver and view action throughout the entire casino whenever patrol functions are necessary.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to properly document activity in writing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations in a timely and proficient manner.
• Ability to meet department standards.
• Learn and understand all casino games, procedures, and payoffs.
• Learn and understand all IGC regulations.
• Successfully meet all Skill Assessment requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Two years gaming related or gaming enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate surveillance system and associated equipment.
• Communicate with security, management, gaming agents, and other casino employees.
• Document observations, events, and incidents.
• Follow established department rules and policies.
• Provide service to internal and external customers reflecting the company culture (S.T.A.R.).
• Immediately inform on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity.
• Report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Attend all training offered.
