The Surveillance Manager is responsible for overseeing the surveillance department to ensure effective and economic operations. This role involves communicating with various agencies including the Indiana Gaming Commission, Judicial System, and law enforcement, as well as internal departments like Security, management, and Human Resources. The manager will coordinate and monitor surveillance activities, ensure compliance with company policies, and report any irregularities. A key focus is on maintaining gaming integrity and protecting company assets. The position requires developing and enforcing departmental policies, assisting in staff training, and operating surveillance systems. Documentation of observations, events, and incidents is crucial, as is supervising and evaluating observers. The manager will also be responsible for developing work schedules, managing employee performance, and completing daily shift reports. Additionally, this role involves recruiting, hiring, and training staff, submitting surveillance activity reports, performing special investigations, and coordinating equipment purchases and maintenance. A critical responsibility is the immediate reporting of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on-site IGC Agent and Security, in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy. Other duties include performing assigned surveillance tasks, attending training, and acting in the Director's absence.
