About The Position

Insight Service Group (ISG), a national investigative services firm specializing in cost containment and anti-fraud services, is seeking experienced and motivated Surveillance Investigators. The role conducts investigations into suspected fraud and misconduct, including on-site mobile surveillance, and documents findings through detailed reports and video evidence. Investigators work independently with limited supervision while collaborating with team members and reporting findings to management. The position is part-time and based in Fresno, California. Scheduling is flexible and may include early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Employees may need to travel up to two hours one way per case and remain in a vehicle for up to eight hours or longer while monitoring subjects.

Requirements

• Insurance experience, such as workers’ compensation, auto, liability, or similar SIU or surveillance experience.
• Reliable vehicle, computer, and cell phone.
• Digital video camera with date- and time-stamp capability.
• Proficiency with web-based systems and ability to write detailed reports.
• Ability and willingness to travel as necessary.
• Ability to work independently and complete cases successfully with little supervision.
• Maintain minimum auto insurance coverage of $150,000/$250,000.
• Maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Provide a copy of a recent driver history report and documentation of required insurance coverage prior to hire.
• Eligible for Private Investigator Employee Registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations related to suspected fraud and misconduct.
