About The Position

This role involves maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and team members while observing activities in various monitored areas, including the casino floor, cage, count room, restaurants, and back of house common areas. The Surveillance Agent is responsible for monitoring for criminal activity, violations of Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission regulations, and company policies. This position requires accurate recording and reporting of observations to company and regulatory officials, maintaining strict confidentiality, and tracking government reporting. The role also includes understanding guest alcohol limitations and company policies, keeping the work area clean, and adhering to ethical practices and company policies. Flexibility in scheduling, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary. Duties may be assigned or changed by management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
  • Observe all guest and team member activities in all monitored areas, including, but not limited to, casino floor, cage, count room, restaurants, and back of house common areas.
  • Monitor activity for criminal activity, violation of Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission regulations, and/or violation of company policies and procedures.
  • Appropriately record activities and report observations to company and Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission officials.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and guest information.
  • Track and complete all government reporting.
  • Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
