About The Position

Rio Tinto is seeking a Superintendent – Asset Management to support and coordinate the implementation of physical asset management practices, aiming to ensure the safety, reliability, performance, and sustainability of equipment, in accordance with Rio Tinto's standards and processes. Requirements

  • A commitment to your safety and that of your team
  • Degree in engineering, technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in management, maintenance management, or asset management
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of asset management and maintenance processes
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional collaboration
  • Rigor, autonomy, and a strong orientation towards continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mobilize teams
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French and basic knowledge of English

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the application of asset management processes according to Rio Tinto standards (lifecycle, criticality, work management)
  • Support operational and technical teams in the effective use of asset management tools
  • Collaborate with planners, supervisors, reliability engineers, and department heads to optimize work management and key rituals
  • Contribute to the analysis of Asset Management performance indicators and propose continuous improvement actions
  • Support the deployment of best practices in safety, compliance, and asset assurance
