About The Position

This role is for Asset Protection Representatives at Maxi stores in Pincourt, Baie D'Urfé, Coteau-du-Lac, and Valleyfield. It offers an opportunity to make a real difference by protecting the store and ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping experience for everyone. As part of one of Canada's largest asset protection teams, the representative will be on the front lines. Requirements

Valid provincial security guard license.
Knowledge of relevant laws, including the Criminal Code of Canada and the Trespass to Property Act.
Knowledge of closed-circuit camera (CCTV) and surveillance systems.
Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Professional, friendly, and approachable attitude with excellent communication skills.
Strong sense of initiative, integrity, and a passion for upholding ethical standards.
Must be 18 years or older and successfully complete a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Deter and detect theft and fraud, and apprehend individuals committing these acts, thereby protecting products and profits.
Conduct thorough internal investigations, analyze evidence, and collaborate with law enforcement to resolve theft and fraud incidents.
Identify loss opportunities and collaborate with in-store teams to implement innovative security strategies.
Collaborate with other asset protection representatives and store management to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
Work a flexible schedule that keeps you alert and ready for anything.
