About The Position
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Surgical Trauma Nursing Support Techs to join our high-acuity floor. The role requires commitment to meet shift requirements as no block schedules are available.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical trauma nursing.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.
- Ability to work without requesting time off (RTO) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support for patients with a variety of conditions, including surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including phlebotomists and unit secretaries, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in nurse handoffs with the Emergency Department nurses and admitting units to ensure continuity of care.
