About The Position

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. The Surgical Technology Skills Laboratory Assistant supports the Surgical Technology Program by assisting with the preparation, organization, maintenance, and operation of the surgical technology and central sterile processing skills laboratories. This position helps ensure students have access to a safe, organized, and well-equipped learning environment that supports the development of essential technical skills required for entry into surgical services and sterile processing careers. The position requires regular in-person presence to support laboratory activities, equipment management, and student learning experiences.
