About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Surgical Technology Program Director to lead and oversee the Surgical Technology program. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical and instructional experience, a commitment to student success, and knowledge of surgical technology education, curriculum development, and program planning.

Requirements

• Graduate of a surgical technology education program accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
• Current NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Minimum of five years of combined experience as an operating room scrub practitioner, surgical technology instructor, or a combination of both within the past ten years.
• Minimum of an associate degree in any discipline; concentration in Surgical Technology preferred. A bachelor’s degree or higher is recommended and may be required based on institutional accreditation standards.
• Documented education or experience in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high academic, clinical, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Surgical Technology program.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain curriculum in accordance with institutional and accreditation requirements.
• Support faculty development, student success, and clinical education.
• Ensure program compliance with applicable accreditation and professional standards.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinical partners, and institutional leadership to promote program quality and continuous improvement.
