About The Position

Join Hillcrest Hospital Cushing as a full-time, day-shift Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Cushing, Oklahoma. The Surgical Technologist provides patient care under the direct supervision of a physician and Registered Nurse. The role is responsible for selecting, assembling, testing, and operating equipment and instruments according to policies and procedures, and for serving as a primary scrub person during surgical procedures. The technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment needed during procedures while applying sterile technique, and contributes to expected patient outcomes in accordance with established standards and policies. Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed, community-owned facility serving patients of all ages in the Cushing area. Its services include 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and urology. The hospital plans to add inpatient behavioral health services in 2025. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
Knowledge of sterile technique.
BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
