About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technologist/LPN/Surgical Technologist functions as a member of the perioperative team assisting the physician with the instrumentation, supplies and equipment needed to perform the surgical procedure. S/he works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and assists with organization and management of departmental equipment, supplies and instrumentation. Requirements

  • Graduate of Surgical Technologist program or high school graduate or equivalent successfully completing on-the-job training.
  • Following a formal orientation, proficiency in the assigned clinical area is expected within six months.
  • Must be able to report for call within 20 minutes.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as Surgical Technologist is desirable.
