About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technologist/LPN/Surgical Technologist functions as a member of the perioperative team assisting the physician with the instrumentation, supplies and equipment needed to perform the surgical procedure. S/he works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and assists with organization and management of departmental equipment, supplies and instrumentation. Requirements

Graduate of Surgical Technologist program or high school graduate or equivalent successfully completing on-the-job training.
Following a formal orientation, proficiency in the assigned clinical area is expected within six months.
Must be able to report for call within 20 minutes.

Nice To Haves

Certification as Surgical Technologist is desirable.
