About The Position
The James Cancer Hospital Surgical Services is seeking an OR Tech for the James Outpatient Care Operating Room, located on the third floor at 2121 Kenny Road in Columbus, Ohio. The position supports a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment with eight operating-room suites and a range of cases, including robotic urology and gynecology; hysterectomies, nephrectomies, and cystoscopies; ENT EGDs; orthopedic soft-tissue cases; and surgical oncology and plastic surgery procedures such as breast lumpectomies, mastectomies, tissue expanders, implants, and TRAM or microsurgical flap procedures. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week on 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts. Call is required as needed. Oncology experience is preferred. The posting also provides parking permit options and related costs for agency staff through CampusParc; parking rates and options may change under CampusParc policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.
- Call is required as needed.
