About The Position

The Surgical Tech is a variable-shift role. The traveler may work day or evening shifts in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour schedules. Call is required, including weekday overnight call and weekend call coverage. Weekend and holiday work may be required based on unit needs. The posting requests candidates with three years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience; previous travel experience is preferred. BLS certification is required. The posting also asks candidates to confirm whether they have experience with eyes, the DaVinci Xi Robot, liver transplant, neuro, and ortho procedures. The posting includes parking information for Wexner Medical Center (WMC), WB, and CXS permits. WMC offers monthly garage access; WB and CXS permits require annual upfront payment. WB parking includes West Campus lots with shuttle service and weekend garage access. Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits, subject to the stated cancellation and refund terms.

Requirements

Three years of experience.
Level 1 Trauma experience required.
BLS required.
Call required: weekdays 21:00–06:30; Saturday and Sunday coverage is listed as 06:30–19:00 or 18:30/19:00–06:30.
Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs.
Confirm whether the traveler has experience with eyes, DaVinci Xi Robot, liver transplant, neuro, and ortho.
