About The Position
The OR Tech works three 12-hour night shifts, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., for 36 hours per week. Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage are required. Call coverage is Monday through Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; Saturday and Sunday call hours are listed as 12 hours, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The posting also lists Saturday and Sunday call as 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Parking permit options and details are provided for the work location. WMC permits provide monthly access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage. WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. WB parking includes West Campus lots with shuttle service, and CXS includes specified garages and lots. Requirements
- Three years of experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Level 1 Trauma experience required.
- Holiday, weekend, and on-call coverage required.
- Traveler experience preferred.
- The posting requests confirmation of experience in eyes, DaVinci Xi Robot, liver transplant, neuro, and ortho; it does not specify which of these are required beyond listing the request for confirmation.
