About The Position
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Prepares the surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies, and hands required and requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures. Assists surgeons with provision of hemostasis during surgery.
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an associate's/technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
- BLS Provider certification is preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications are accepted.

- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology.
- BLS Provider certification.
