About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon. This is a 13-week assignment with two openings. The role works a day shift of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 to 19:00, and requires weekend work. The technologist will not float between units and will work at a 1:1 ratio. Call requirements include 16 weekday call hours and 24 weekend call hours every four weeks. The position uses Epic for charting. Weekly pay is $2,078, with a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,729 per week where eligible.
Requirements
- Active license or certification for the operating room and the CST specialty; compact credentials accepted where applicable.
- 1–2 years of recent CST experience.
- CST certification from NBSTSA.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital.
- Work required weekend shifts.
- Provide weekday call coverage for 16 hours every four weeks and weekend call coverage for 24 hours every four weeks.
- Use Epic for charting.
