About The Position

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Recent graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist (ST) program or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program.
• Less than one year of experience as an ST.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Post high school education, certification or diploma.
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care.
• Ensures patient goals are met.
• Carries out the mission of the hospital.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Requires rotating schedule and on-call duties.
