About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, GI, GYN, Orthopedics, Robotics (DaVinci), and Urology. The ideal candidate will have prior scrubbing experience and be well-versed in surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Active Surgical Technologist certification (CST) unless possessing over 15 years of experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Washington State license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, GI, GYN, Orthopedics, Robotics (DaVinci), and Urology.
- Prior scrubbing experience.
- Well-versed in surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in circulating roles as a Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by obtaining and preparing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain sterile conditions and handle surgical instruments in a proficient manner.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of the operating room, ensuring all equipment is functional and sterile.
