Surgical Technologist - Thief River Falls
About The Position
Sanford Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist to provide surgical care as an integral member of the medical team. The role works in a supportive surgical services department across the operating room, endoscopy, and central sterile processing department (CSPD). Surgical technologists assist surgeons during procedures by preparing and organizing instruments and supplies and anticipating the surgeon’s needs. New graduates are welcome to apply, with or without national certification. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with one day off each week, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The position requires availability to work every fifth weekend, one call night per week, and a rotation that includes working every fifth holiday. Scheduled hours are 32 per week.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry when employment begins.
Nice To Haves
- National certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred but not required.
