About The Position

Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for providing surgical instruments to the surgical team and coordinates care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; proof of education may be requested.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must understand written and spoken English.
• Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Non-certified applicants may be considered with acceptable surgical technology experience.
