About The Position
The trained Surgical Technologist, under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite. The position is part of a fast-paced, high-tech surgical environment at Cooper’s Camden Campus, where the operating room team handles complex cases. Cooper’s surgical services are growing and offer opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
- Hold a Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or another nationally recognized credentialing organization such as NCCT.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.
