About The Position
The Surgical Technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. The role requires prioritizing, organizing, and implementing care for surgical patients across a variety of specialties. Call obligations are performed as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or an accredited vocational school of nursing.
- At least one year of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Nice To Haves
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
