About The Position
INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is offering an opportunity for a Certified Surgical Technologist in Oklahoma City. This role involves working with the Surgical Services team to provide exceptional patient care. The Surgical Technologist is a key member of the surgical team, bringing expertise in sterile technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures. They are responsible for independently managing surgical instruments and supplies during operations and ensuring patient safety throughout all phases of a procedure. The position also requires adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.
Requirements
- Surgical Technologist Certified
Responsibilities
- Function as an integral member of the surgical team
- Possess expertise in sterile technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures
- Independently manage surgical instruments and supplies during operations
- Ensure patient safety throughout all phases of a procedure
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires
