ST - Surgical Tech - Days
About The Position
This position is responsible for facilitating the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. The Surgical Tech will prepare the surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies, hand required and requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery, and assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. The role also involves maintaining instruments in an organized manner, monitoring and tracking instrument counts throughout procedures, and assisting surgeons with the provision of hemostasis during surgery.
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.
