About The Position
Surgical Tech in Surgical Services. The role requires a graduate of a certified surgical technologist program and at least four years of operating-room experience. The candidate must have prior travel experience, Trauma Level II experience, and experience with the Da Vinci robotic system. Required specialties include orthopedics, neurology, and spine, with comfort handling complex spine and neuro cases. General surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI experience are considered a bonus. The traveler must have their own vehicle and cannot rely on Uber or Lyft because of on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program.
- At least four years of operating-room experience.
- Prior travel experience.
- Trauma Level II experience.
- Da Vinci robotics experience.
- Orthopedics, neurology, and spine experience.
- Comfort with complex spine and neuro cases.
- Must have their own vehicle and cannot rely on Uber or Lyft due to on-call responsibilities.
Nice To Haves
- AHA BLS CST is highly preferred.
- General surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, or GI experience.
