Join our team as a Surgical Tech where you will ensure OR rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use. You will monitor the sterile field throughout the procedure, scrub for cases, and anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team. You will also position and transport patients, organize room cleanup, and ensure efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years’ experience
  • Level 1 trauma experience
  • CST Certification
  • Cardiac experience
  • Robotic experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure OR rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
  • Monitor sterile field throughout procedure.
  • Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.
