Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specialized surgical suites by meticulously organizing sterile instruments and supplies to ensure a seamless, high-functioning environment for every procedure.
• Empower the surgical team by anticipating the surgeon’s needs and delivering precise instrumentation, allowing the lead physician to remain focused on the patient.
• Advocate for patient safety by diligently monitoring instrument counts and maintaining a sterile field to prevent complications and ensure successful clinical outcomes.
• Support critical patient transitions, including positioning and draping, to guarantee comfort and maintain the integrity of the surgical site from start to finish.
• Collaborate directly with the surgical or scrub team to provide hemostasis and technical assistance, playing a vital role in the efficiency and safety of the operating room.
