About The Position

A Surgical Tech First Assist supports the surgical team in delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room, assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals in a variety of surgical procedures. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Completion of a Technical Program Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) or Surgical Technologist Program (CST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) certification through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
• Two years of surgical technician experience.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
