About The Position
Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, part of SCA Health, is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). The role supports operative and other invasive procedures by functioning as a scrub person, preparing and transporting surgical instruments, and assisting with room cleaning and setup between patients. The position pays $30.00 to $39.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Successful completion of a BLS course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Current Surgical Technologist certification.
Responsibilities
- Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
- Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
- Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and prepare the room for subsequent patients.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
