As a Supply Chain Technician supporting Surgical Services, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and the Surgicenter, you’ll ensure clinicians have the right supplies, at the right time, in the right place—every day. Your work behind the scenes directly supports life‑saving procedures and outstanding patient outcomes. Under the direction of Supply Chain Leadership, you’ll manage the flow of critical medical supplies from ordering through delivery, maintaining inventory accuracy and availability across high‑acuity clinical environments. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
  • Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills in fast‑paced environments.
  • Professional, respectful communication with patients, visitors, clinicians, and staff.
  • Ability to work discreetly and efficiently in patient‑care settings.
  • Comfort using supply and delivery equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, balers, and IT tools including scanners, computers, and barcode systems.
  • High level of accountability, service orientation, and attention to detail.
  • Strong situational awareness and adaptability to changing clinical demands.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous availability of essential medical supplies and equipment for invasive and surgical services.
  • Organize, stock, label, and rotate supplies in alignment with inventory control and auditing standards.
  • Deliver disposables, implants, grafts, tissue, and assigned equipment accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels, usage trends, backorders, and expirations to prevent delays in patient care.
  • Perform routine cycle counts, audits, and documentation to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Inspect products for accuracy, condition, expiration dates, quantities, and catalog numbers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized work area that supports efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sterile Processing, and clinical teams to resolve supply issues and shortages.
  • Assemble and pick surgical case carts using pick lists and physician preference cards.
  • Ensure packaging integrity and communicate shortages or missing items promptly.
  • Transport case carts to operating rooms and restock unused supplies post‑procedure.
  • Participate in on‑call coverage as needed (may apply to casual roles).
  • Process urgent and routine requests for blood, specimens, equipment, supplies, and linens.
  • Prioritize STAT, ROUTINE, and TIMED orders and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain competency in cart restocking procedures and initiate warehouse on‑call support when necessary.
