Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience, including conflict management.
  • Understanding of developmental needs across all age groups—from neonatal to adult.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
  • Confidence and composure in stressful situations, with the ability to diffuse negativity.
  • Critical thinking skills to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Actively greet visitors with kindness, compassion, and understanding—recognizing that families may be experiencing stress, worry, or joy. Your presence ensures a positive and comforting first impression.
  • Badge and screen guests according to visitation guidelines, then help them navigate the facility with confidence.
  • Determine destinations and transportation needs, offering assistance every step of the way.
  • Provide internal patient transport that is both secure and engaging.
  • Stock and move wheelchairs, strollers, and carts to ensure accessibility across the facility.
