About The Position
We are seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians (SPT) for our Level One trauma facility, which is extremely busy. Candidates should have experience in all areas of the department, including decontamination of various items (Drills, Davinci, scopes), assembly of instruments for all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging), sterilization processes (sterrad and steam), HLD/Scope experience, sterile storage, OR Liaison experience, and Censitrac Tracking system experience. Experience working in a facility similar to OSU is required.
Requirements
- Experience with all areas of the department
- Experience with decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes)
- Experience with assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)
- Experience with sterilization process (sterrad and steam)
- HLD/ Scope experience
- Experience with Sterile Storage
- OR Liaison experience
- Censitrac Tracking system experience
- Experience working in a Level One trauma facility similar to OSU
- Must have either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM) certification
