About The Position

This role is for a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in a busy surgical services department. The department features 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room, handling both elective and emergency surgeries for adult and pediatric patients across various specialties.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Surgical Tech (CST).
• Alternatively, must have worked as a tech prior to 2015.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing elective and emergency surgeries.
• Experience with adult and pediatric patients.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one call per week and one weekend per month.
