About The Position

This position is for a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in Surgical Services. The role requires the individual to be a Certified NBSTSA OR Tech. The position does not float between units. On-call is required, including weekday and weekend call. Weekend shifts may be required in lieu of weekday shifts based on department needs. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1.

Requirements

• Certified NBSTSA OR Tech
• Must be available for weekday call (16 hours every 4 weeks).
• Must be available for weekend call (24 hours every 4 weeks).
• Must be able to work weekend shifts as needed.
• Must maintain a 1:1 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST).
