About The Position
This position is for a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in Surgical Services. The role requires the individual to be certified by NBSTSA. The position is located at a Short Term Acute Care facility with 418 total staffed beds. The scrub color for the OR/L&D is provided, while other departments have different dress code requirements. Charting is done via Epic, and parking is free.
Requirements
- Certified NBSTSA OR Tech.
- Must be able to work weekend shifts.
- Must be available for weekday call (16 hours every 4 weeks).
- Must be available for weekend call (24 hours every 4 weeks).
- Must be able to work weekend shifts in lieu of weekday shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST).
- Float between units as needed.
- Be available for on-call duties, including weekday and weekend shifts.
- Work weekend shifts in lieu of weekday shifts as needed for department needs.
