About The Position
The Surgical Services Assistant works under general supervision and established procedures as an on-shift team member under the direction of a nurse. The role provides delegated aspects of patient care and performs routine non-patient-care unit maintenance tasks. The position is full-time, with three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and includes one holiday call. The position is with Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
Requirements
- BLS certification from an approved BLS course is required; training will be provided.
