About The Position
Seeking a Surgical Services Assistant who, under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. This is a part-time position with 48 hours biweekly, working from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is located at Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required (training will be provided).
Responsibilities
- Providing delegated aspects of patient care under the direction of the nurse.
- Performing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
