About The Position
The Surgical RN is responsible for all nursing care of patients in the operating room, recovery room, and endoscopy, and for providing pre-operative education. The position requires call time.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Iowa.
- Previous RN experience in most hospital nursing situations, including critical care.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- High energy level and ability to work under stress while exhibiting maturity, stability, and flexibility.
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with Medical Staff.
- BLS (CPR) certification, or obtain it within 3 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Operating Room experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
