About The Position

The Pediatric Division for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative team providing comprehensive care to patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Working under the supervision of an attending physician, the PA will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, and other approved care environments. The Physician Assistant will perform medical services within the scope of New York State regulations and Montefiore policies, participating in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients. In addition to core Physician Assistant responsibilities, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and obtain validation for department-specific procedural skills unique to Otorhinolaryngology. Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree/ Masters Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
  • Current New York State Physician Assistant license required
  • NCCPA certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Pediatrics preferred
  • Experience in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) preferred
  • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant preferred

Responsibilities
