About The Position

NuTeeth is a specialty dental practice focused on dental implants, All-on-X full-arch cases, dentures, and oral surgery. The practice is seeking an experienced surgical dental assistant who remains calm in the operatory, anticipates the doctor’s needs, and prioritizes patient comfort. The role supports implant placement, All-on-X procedures, extractions, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures; prepares and maintains surgical rooms and equipment; monitors patients, including during sedation cases; obtains imaging; and helps patients understand post-operative instructions. The assistant also supports infection control, inventory management, and coordination with the front office and treatment coordinators.

Requirements

Current Texas RDA registration.
At least 2 years of surgical or implant assisting experience.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Reliable, organized, and a team player who stays steady under pressure.

Nice To Haves

All-on-X or full-arch experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with IV sedation cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist the doctor chairside during implant placement, All-on-X, extractions, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures.
Set up and break down surgical rooms, maintain a sterile field, and manage instruments and implant components.
Monitor and record patient vitals before, during, and after procedures, including sedation cases.
Take CBCT scans, X-rays, and intraoral scans.
Prepare patients for surgery and explain post-operative instructions.
Handle sterilization and infection control according to OSHA and CDC standards.
Keep surgical supplies and implant inventory stocked and organized.
Work with the front office and treatment coordinators to keep the day running smoothly.
